Case Study: Pinehurst Concours d’Elegance
The Situation
The Pinehurst Concours d’Elegance had a successful run at Pinehurst for five years. The event was unique to Pinehurst and offered a totally new event platform and target audience for the Resort. The Pinehurst Concours d’Elegance blended the history, heritage and grandeur from three of North Carolina’s proudest entities - Pinehurst Resort, the Automobile, and the Military in celebration of America’s Passion for the automobile, and for the benefit of the brave men and women of Fort Bragg, North Carolina.
The Objective
Serve as a liaison for the Concours d'Elegance leadership to the Pinehurst Community and assist with the “On The Ground” logistics with the Pinehurst Resort, Moore County Airport and the Village of Pinehurst.
The Solution
Tarheel Communications, LLC, partnered with the Concours ownership to manage all community and resort logistics with all of the needed organizations that touched the event for its five-year history. Our event experience within the community assisted the Concours team in navigating through the various town governments and Resort departments during the planning stages for the events associated with the Concours d’Elegance. We also assisted with sponsorship leads for the event from our database and contacts in the corporate arena.
